Choir’s 30th anniversary concert

Alfie Boe will be half way through his Wales Millennium Centre appearance for Welsh National Opera in the much acclaimed “La Traviata” when he takes a break to perform at Dunvant Male Choir’s 30th Annual Patrons concert at the Brangwyn Hall on Friday 25th September.
This Blackpool born International Tenor, now residing in USA appears as Alfredo in the current performance series is his first, and hopefully not his last, with the WNO.
Dunvant’s other guest artiste is more local, having been born in Morriston, is Music Patron for the Oystermouth based Ariosa Singers, where she has been an active member, and represented Wales in the recent BBC Cardiff Singer of the Year. Soprano, Natalya is presently a student at the London’s Guildhall School of Music.
As if that’s not enough, international actor and broadcaster Phillip Madoc, cements everything together as the evening’s compere.
Limited tickets are still available by contacting the Choir’s Patron’s Secretary (07813707822) or possibly on the door on the night. The concert commences at 7.15 pm.
