Hi Everyone, Alfie here in San Francisco – at the airport !

Its New Years Day and I played a concert here last night with San Francisco Symphony, to see The New Year in.

Everyone had a wonderful time and I enjoyed it so much – thank you to the people here, the company, the orchestra and Maestro Tovey for such a great evening.

I’m flying out today but wanted to wish you all a very healthy, prosperous and safe New Year. Lets hope that the next decade brings peace and happiness to you all.

What a magnificent performance you gave us New Year’s Eve in San Francisco! We loved it ~ but I loved it most of all ~ I loved it and OH ! when you dramatically gave me your bow tie…! You bet your life I caught it in mid air. Please let me know where I can send you a special surprise thank you. Thrilled with your success and news about your beautiful family. My husband, friend of the late Maestro Pavarotti, is very jealous ~ no one can blame him ~ you are a true S T A R!
