Les Miserables – Queens Theatre dates

Dear Everyone,

Neil Ferris, Alfie’s Manager here. I can now confirm the dates that Alfie will be performing, in the role of Jean Valjean at London’s Queens Theatre. Please, please do not blame Teebee, for the lack of information, it is entirely my responsibility – I have told Teebee that she must categorically, not announce any dates until I have actually confirmed them and further, until we are certain they will go ahead. This was literally only agreed a few days ago and Alfie is still rehearsing the role, so you will hopefully understand that I have not been able to say anything concrete, until now.

Officially, neither Alfie nor I are able to announce these dates - Firstly, I have only in the last few days, actually confirmed these dates as I have said. Secondly, we are under contract to Cameron Mackintosh and its not within my or Alfie’s gift to announce dates before they do – Obviously you are all aware that they have announced and confirmed October 3rd, two performances at The 02 Arena. These dates at The Queens Theatre are in the ‘run-up’ to the 02 Shows and have been moving and changing until very recently. They are tonight, now confirmed.

I hope this answers your questions. I will try to let you all know some more shortly, as exciting things surrounding this are developing all the time.
