Merry Christmas from Alfie

Hi everyone

Alfie here on Christmas Eve, in London.  I want to wish you all a very, very happy Christmas and a truly wonderful new Year.

For me 2010 has been such an exciting journey, culminating at The 02 and then signing to my new Record Company, making the “Bring Him Home” album – which I sincerely hope you all love. We are so excited about it, cant wait until the 27th when its finally in your hands, just a bit late for Christmas, but certainly in time for the start of the new decade !

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, I do hope you are able to have a few days to relax with friends and family – Take care of yourselves and each other over this magical white Christmas,

Much love to you all, as always

Alfie xx

  • We have just watched the O2 concert of Les Mis ( a DVD Christmas gift from our daughter).
Wow! Words escape us when we try to describe your performance. You were phenomenal! Thank you for conjuring up such wonderful memories for us who saw the original cast all those years ago & who have been lucky enough to participate in Les Mis Masterclasses at Pineapple Studios with two of our daughters.

The 25th. Anniversary Concert was a triumph. Congratulations! Please come to Cardiff Wales Millennium Centre soon to transport us with your beautiful voice.
May you continue to relish your success & may we continue to delight in your performances.
    Happy New Year!

  • Dear Alfie,

I was so touched, and amazed at God’s good gift in your life and personality, as I listened to your prayer ‘Bring Him Home’. Even though it’s a performance, and you’ve done it so well no doubt, I do not think you could have done that without being touched deeply by it – which was visible. More importantly, I believe, that even if you were not aware of it, such sincerity of art must have been heard by the One to whom you prayer performace was directed. I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas indeed, and a Happy New year, and I pray that the birth of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, will take on a whole new meaning in your life this year.. May He, in the core of your very soul, bring you indeed Home to Himself. I wish I could see you face to face, and share more with you. Daniel

  • just wanted to say have just seen the o2 dvd and I now have a bit of a crush on alfie for that wonderful performance! WOW! wot a talent just massive congratulations and you deserve every success hope to see you soon xxx

  • i am now your biggest fan and can’t wait to get your albums, les mis performance was the best i have ever seen, and so emotional. breathtaking and stunning….thank you

  • It’s not often this is said about me but on seeing your performance at Les Mis I was speechless. We’ve seen the DVD about 4 times since Christmas Day and every time I have cried, my husband has cried and even the dog cries! Seriously, I am old enough to remember the first performances at the Palace but nothing prepared me for the 25th Anniversary show. The Valjean quartet was stunning and the genuine warmth between the performers was obvious.
Are you doing any solo concerts in the near future? I think you will have a whole host of new fans which you so definitely deserve.
    Thank you for your talent.

  • I would like that you record a Christmas album. What do you think my idea? I think woderful!!! :-)

  • I was deeply moved by your performance as Valjean in Les Mis, and have gone on to buy your album (Bring Him Home). Your voice reflects the passion you have for life. I find it awe-inspiring.

  • Just wanted to say what a wonderful DVD Les Mis and an even more wonderful album Bring Him Home. My 16 year old daughter Rebecca and I can’t stop playing them! Thank you so much. xxxxxxxxxx
