Wow! You made my soul soar to the Heavens. My favorite show with a new and endearing Jean Valjean. Congrats! 100% deserved.
I was thrilled; I was chilled…………..listening to your performance. I saw the original cast in London and loved it. Sunday’s performance on PBS was magnificent. Kudos to all!
Please, please promise to bring your talents back to the states soon. Your Jean Valjean was so well turned, it brought tears to my eyes. God’s blessings on you and your family, and thank you for your gift of music to the world.
Have just watched the 25th Les Miz on PBS for about the fifth time in a week. Alfie, you made this man cry many times in the past week. What a talent you are. I will be a fan forever. I must now figure out how to get to London in the fall and pray I can find some tickets. Please come to New York!
Today, I watched the PBS showing of Les Mis shown at 2:30 EST. for the 8th time
The show is amazing, and of course Alfie’s JeanValjean is out of this world. The emotion in his voice and portrayal of the character is mesmerizing.
I’m beginning to think I should buy shares in Kleenex Tissues.
Thank you Alfie for your incredible talent. All the very best.
Saved the Les Mis PBS show and have watched it numerous times. Keep replaying the “Bring Him Home” song. It gives me chills every time I listen. You have a fantastic voice. Plan on buying the album today. Keep on singing and giving us more of your beautiful voice.
Bought a copy of the DVD and can’t stop watching it Alfie is fantastic as Jean Valjean giving the most incredible performance ( and with the close up camera work you can see the feeling he puts into his part). Might need to buy another copy in case I wear this copy out.
