Les Miserables news

To the fans

I know you are all anxiously waiting for news of Alfie Boe appearing in Les Miserables, at The Queens Theatre, Well, it really won’t be long to wait.

Tomorrow morning at 9am,  Sir Cameron Mackintosh will be making an announcement, outside The Queens Theatre, and all your questions will be answered.

Alfie will be there too.  So exciting,

    Same here I have tickets for the evening of August 4th, if he’s not in it then I shall be devastated. Although I have also got tickets for his Dec tour in Birmingham. Can’t wait. His voice makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

    Since seeing Alfie on the dvd of Les Mis We cant wait to see him at the queens,do hope he does the Saturday afternoons as we have already booked for July and we dont want to see any one else this will be our 25th time of seeing the show cant get enough of the show,hope it goes on for another 25years

    I saw Les Mis in my home town,London. Now in the States for a few months and am over the moon to see that PBS is showing it on TV. They seem to be on a roll as it is being repeated and repeated, and I’m glued to every performance. I can’t get enough of Alfie’s talent and his tremendous voice.
    I WILL be there for the show in June.
    May it run forever.

    Will Alfie Boe’s 11/26/11 be his last? My wife and I are flying to the UK that weekend from NYC to hopefully see his performance that eve at the Queens Theatre. what a thrill to witness his last performance as Jean Valjean!!

    Are you ever going to do Valjean in America. Saw the 25th anniversary edition on PBS and you were magnificent. Best Valjean I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot of them)

    Coming from Newport Beach, California to see Mr. Boe in Les Miserables in June. Will he star in the proposed film version of the musical (he is the only one I can imagine doing it)? Please say yes – London is a long way away and the DVD would be a way to see the musical without the jet lag. No true substitute but would have to do!
