UK tour message from Alfie 10 Feb 2011

Hi everyone on the fansite.  Alfie here. 

Just wanted to let you know that we are announcing my first ever major UK Tour tomorrow and wanted to tell you about it first.  I really hope I will get to see as many of you as possible around the country.  We are playing some great towns & cities, in some wonderful venues.  Can’t tell you how excited I am about being able to sing for you all.  Not long now.

    Since seeing you as Valjean in the 25th anniversary concert of Les Mis, you have inspired me to go back to singing lessons. I have also worked out the TAB for Bring Him Home, and, although I know it’s a song for tenors, I play and sing it at local open mic nights.

I Cannot wait!!!!! my daughter is playing young Cossette in the school production of Les Mis, so I bought the Les Mis Anniversary DVD for myself to watch and was instantly in love with the whole thing. Listening to your Les Mis performance on tv took me back to when I saw the show the first time in San Francisco as a little girl and how emotional it was to experience that show the first time. I’m sure hearing you live would be even more powerful.
