Alfie not performing in Les Mis tonight (7th July 2011)
Unfortunately Alfie is feeling under the weather today and regrettably won’t be playing the role of Jean Valjean at The Queens Theatre this evening. He apologises to everyone that is coming to see the show, but he knows you will love it regardless, its such a great show. Fingers crossed he will be back tomorrow, fighting fit !! He sends his love to you all.

This is what I should have typed!!
Alfie, I do hope that you are feeling much better. You must put your health first. Take it from one who knows. Your voice is too important not to take care of it. I am coming to see you in August to celebrate my wedding anniversary (bringing hubby as well), really looking forward to seeing you live rather than just on the 25th anniversary DVD.
God Bless and all the very best to you and your family (I hope that they haven’t got it as well).

Consider myself very lucky as I went to Les Mis on 9th July. Having seen the show many times this one with you in it is the best ever! Only became a fan after seeing Kistmet – but am now a devoted follower. x
After seeing alfie last week all I can say is he was amazing, having seen Les Mis 4 times this was the best. Can’t wait to see you on your tour when you come to Brighton later on in the year.
HI everyone – just back from a weekend in London from Glasgow especially to see Alfie on Friday night in Les Mis – what can i say about this show and this man – he is just superb. Les Mis is my all time favorite stage production and this was our eighth time. I have seen Colm Willkinson preform JVJ twice and thought that no one could ever beat or even replace him in this part – how wrong i was. Alfie is perfect for this role in every possible way. He can act, he can sing and he looks fantastic. On friday night i am sure Alfie was still not feeling 100% but no one in that audience could tell -he was absolutely fantastic . He gives his audience everything they could ever wish for and more!
Thank you Alfie and all the cast of Les Mis for a wonderful experience – one i shall never forget and hope with all my heart to repeat.
Sending lots and lots of love your way alfie and I really hope you have a speedy recovery. Take it easy, love Lauren xxxxxx
Hope you are now better. Saw you Saturday afternoon and you were just fantastic. Having seen the show 6 times, this was the best performance. Congratulations to everyone concerned – but especially to you.
Hope your feeling better Alfie. We were lucky enough to see Les Mis. on Thurs. 30th June. What a show!!! We (My Hubbie) and myself are coming to see you on 17th Dec. in Blackpool. We are bringing my Dad who is 86, who is also a fan of yours. This time we do not need to travel as far, as we are only in Manchester. After saying that it was worth it to see you.
Looking forward to your December show……
Love Janetxx
